Is this mountaineering expedition for you? Our Kun mountaineering expedition is designed for individuals with basic mountaineering experience and excellent fitness, seeking a high-altitude adventure.
Kun is the second-highest peak between the Zanskar and Kargil regions of Ladakh, offering breathtaking views in the Indian Himalayas.
Acclimatisation and Trekking
We will acclimatize by completing the classic Markha Valley trek, crossing Kongmaru La (approximately 5200m). This provides the perfect preparation to summit one of the Western Himalayas’ majestic peaks.

- Duration: 26 days
- 12 days for pre-climbing and acclimatization (includes Markha Valley Trek)
- 10 days for climbing Kun (including rest and contingency days)
- 4 post-climbing days
Grade: Difficulty: Strenuous
Requirements: Basic to advanced mountaineering skills and excellent fitness. Prior experience climbing a 6000m+ peak is essential.
Accommodation: Twin-share hotels and camping during the trek.
